The following positions are currently available

  • Senior Consultant

Responsibilities: As a Senior Consultant you will assist with business development, lead discovery and design activities, and provide oversight during implementation. Your role in working with the Customer Relationship Manager in business development is to lead the collection of customer business and technical needs, design the project approach, solution and level of effort, and present recommendations to prospective clients. During discovery and design projects you will lead project planning and completion of project tasks such as client interviews, presenting recommendations report, completing design activities, developing project plans, managing small teams. You will be responsible for the successful deployment of the recommended products/solutions.

Qualifications: Position qualifications for a Senior Consultant include:

  1. Advanced skills and experience in developing the project approach/solution (to achieve prospective client objectives) including creating project plans outlining needed resources, tasks and time estimates. Previous pre-sales experience with a Consulting/Professional Services company is REQUIRED.

  2. Advanced skills in leading and completing technology infrastructure assessments and design/planning projects. Previous experience must include:

o  Can assess a broad range of technologies (including Messaging, LAN/WAN, Client Access Technologies, Directories, Network and Systems Management) and provide recommendations to improve operating efficiencies, effectiveness and security. Some knowledge and experience with Unix is desirable.

o  Extensive hands-on experience developing Windows 2003 Active Directory designs and migration plans for companies with 500+ employees (must be able to provide a sample of the migration document created)

o  Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting a multi-site Exchange 2003 environment.

o  Have managed and were responsible for the successful completion of several Windows and Exchange 2003 migration projects, and deployment of other Microsoft products such as Microsoft Operations Manager, Windows 2000 Terminal Services, Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server, Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server

  1. Advanced presentation and verbal communication skills

  2. Proven document and proposal writing skills (provide sample during interview process)

  3. Can lead teams of 5+ people

  4. MCSE in Windows 2003 (or has the knowledge/experience to complete the certification if time allocated)

  5. Over 10 years of total experience, with emphasis on Microsoft technologies and several years in an IT professional services company.
