Online Seminar - Office, Exchange, SharePoint, OCS 2007: A Sneak Preview of the 2007 Line-up of Information Worker Solutions from Microsoft
 

This seminar was slightly ahead of the Fall (2006) launch Microsoft is conducting on the full line-up of new Office and Exchange products, everything from a new version of Exchange to an entire release of Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Office Communications Server, etc.  In this free seminar led by Rand Morimoto, author of dozens of best selling books including an upcoming 1200+ page book on Exchange 2007 (due out Fall/2006) and the integration of Unified Communications technologies of the Office 2007 apps, presented, demonstrated, and shared best practices around the implementation and usage of the new Microsoft products and technologies.

 

Rand covered:

 *  what’s new in the various updated Office 2007 products (Windows, Excel, Project, Visio, etc)

 *  what to expect in the upcoming release of Exchange 2007

 *  what are the top features and functions of SharePoint 2007

 *  what’s new with Unified Communications, the concept of linking Exchange 2007 messaging to OCS 2007 instant messaging, to SharePoint data sharing, to Exchange mobility

Note: this seminar was just an introduction to the new 2007 line of products.
