Online Seminar - Microsoft's Management Strategy: SMS 2003 and MOM 2005

We have video taped another seminar conducted by Convergent Computing President, Rand Morimoto, this time on the topic of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005.  In this session, Rand covers what these technologies do and how organizations are leveraging them to simplify the administration of their network, provide systems reporting, and to proactively manage their IT operations.

Rand covers the simplicity in SMS/2003 for installation and patch/update deployment (that is completely different than the difficulties experienced with SMS v2.0) and the functionality of MOM/2005 for proactive monitoring and alerting.

You should download and print the slide deck that will be used throughout this session
