Convergent Computing (CCO) Wins Microsoft’s 2011 Worldwide Partner of the Year Award!

Microsoft announced today that Convergent Computing (CCO), based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, is Microsoft’s 2011 Private Cloud Partner of the Year!  This award will be presented to CCO at the annual Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) being held in Los Angeles in July!

CCO was selected from over 200,000 Microsoft partners and from hundreds of nominations from around the world to be awarded this Partner of this Year designation!

CCO gets invited to work with Microsoft’s technologies 2-3 years before the products are released and helps early adopter organizations plan, deploy, and migrate to these technologies long before the products are released to the general public.  CCO’s consultants write the Unleashed-series of books through Sams Publishing and currently has over a dozen international bestselling books on the market on technologies including Windows 2008 R2, Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, Lync 2010, System Center, and the like.

“This is a huge honor for us, and a great way to recognize the hard work and effort of ALL of the consultants here at CCO that help our clients plan, design, implement, migrate, and support technologies based on years of best practices and lessons learned,” commented CCO President, Rand Morimoto.

CCO is currently working with the entire platform of technologies Microsoft will release in 2012 and 2013 continuing its strategic advantage in working closely with the product groups in Redmond as well as early adopters in real world environments to amass knowledge and experience far in advance of the release of these products.  CCO is helping its clients plan, implement, and support Microsoft’s current line of technologies today with a clear understanding where Microsoft’s products will be positioned in the next few years, and what can be done today that’ll help its clients implement current technologies in preparation for the integration with future products and technologies down the line.

CCO was founded in 1986 and is celebrating its 25th year in business.  For more information on Convergent Computing, please visit
